Com centenas de mortos da Quarta-feira Negra ainda por sepultar, o Egipto prepara-se para um novo dia de protestos depois de a Irmandade Muçulmana ter apelado aos seus manifestantes que saiam à rua para uma “Sexta-feira de Raiva”. Desafiando as críticas internacionais ao massacre desencadeado pela operação policial contra os acampamentos islamistas, o Governo interino avisou que a polícia tem autorização para usar balas reais.

El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores egipció publicó una lista de 35 incidentes de ataques a Cristianos coptos el pasado miércoles. Al parecer 45 iglesias y 11 comercios han sido atacados, tras la dispersión de los islamistas por el ejército.

Los islamistas queman una de las Iglesias más grandes de Sohag, la de Santa María Guirguis

Por último, Al-Qaradawi, tan «tolerante» con quienes se convierten a otra religión, le echa la culpa a los «sionistas»:

Y así los cristianos pasan a ser «enemigos sionistas de la nación» o, en el mejor de los casos, sus aliados. No por la palabra «sionista» sino por la palabra «enemigo»: vamos, que los descendientes de los primitivos habitantes de Egipto, son enemigos o sus aliados.

S&P rebaja la calificación de Túnez por las revueltas

La agencia de rating ha añadido que considera que las perspectivas son negativas, si dentro de los 12 meses siguientes «la situación social y económica amenaza las reformas que apoyen el crecimiento económico». FOX NEWS,com:

Rating agency Standard & Poor’s downgraded debt issued by Tunisia by two notches on Friday because of rising opposition to the government.

The credit rating agency downgraded its notation for Tunisian long-term debt from «BB-» to «B», indicating low confidence that the country will be able to respect its debt obligations.

And S&P said that the outlook was negative, meaning that there was one chance in three that it would lower the rating again in the next 12 months if the economic and social situation threatened reforms to support economic growth.

Según Reuters, el ministro Laurent Fabius ha dicho:

«Given that Egypt was the guarantor of peace in the region, it’s even more worrying,Maximum restraint must be shown otherwise the risk is that extremist groups take advantage of the situation and that would be extremely serious.»

France and Britain requested a U.N. Security Council meeting on Thursday evening. The 15-member group urged all parties to end the violence and exercise maximum restraint after hundreds of people were killed when troops and police crushed protests seeking the return of deposed President Mohamed Mursi.

Lamentablemente, los extremistas llevan aprovechándose de la situación en la región desde hace mucho tiempo.
